MyFandoms.com Build a Fan Site Contest

So I mentioned this site I've been working on and we have just launched a contest.

www.myFandoms.com is looking for fans to build fan sites and write fan fiction for these new TV shows:

Busy days

Work
So things are really moving with myFandoms.com, the beta site is really taking off. Some really cool fan videos and fan art have been posted which makes me really happy. You should check it out. There are already 66 stories posted in the fan fiction archive. That just blows my mind! We just started letting people know the site exists.

We're still in the beta phase and testing to make sure everything is working according to plan. It has been a blast. Great people to work with. They're all totally addicted to fan fiction and well... anything fan related. :)

Life
Well, I'm not doing much other than work these days. Planning on a surprise trip home to visit my family.... oops, maybe shouldn't have said that. ;)

Today is one of those rare days here - rainy and FOGGY. A real make me homesick kind of day. But I'm so hyper that it's not getting me down at all. In fact I've made tea to try and relax myself. Things just seem to be going a mile a minute today. :)

Hobbies
Our Canadian Thanksgiving is coming up which is generally a great occasion to get out to the country and enjoy the amazing Fall Foliage. I'll post pics soon.

Cello & Zoe
With the fall temperatures here they are less interested in outdoors and more concentrated on fighting over sleeping places. Regular stuff around here. Cello is best at finding the spots but Zoe just keeps taking them. And he's the little one.

Just getting started

Hi everyone,

I don't know why I haven't started this before. Guess I've been spending too much time working. I'll tell yo u all about the latest project in a bit. But first... the cats.

Cello & Zoe turned 13 this month. I can't believe we've had them that long. They came to us back in the days of Doc Martin shoes. How do I remember that you ask? When I arrived home that evening to meet them, I scared Cello with my big black noisy shoes. He's been afraid of black shoes ever since. That was the day before my birthday and no, they weren't a birthday present from P. We spent half that night trying to convince Cello to come out from inside the sofa bed. Zoe on the other hand was just excited to climb up on us.

Life is not bad. We've just ordered a new vehicule - a grey 2007 Pontiac Torrent. Not exactly the car of my dreams but it will be better for traveling to the country.

Hobby - writing/ editing, my fanfiction writer has gone on hiatus these days and I'm really missing her story. It gave me something to think about which allowed my mind to wander in all kinds of puzzled ways. As an editor I don't have to come up with the brilliant idea but she's happy when I do. One day soon I hope I can reveal this award winning author's identity. BUT you can find it and many other wonder lesbian fanfiction stories on the L-Word fanfiction site.

Work, well that's been going pretty well these days. Enough of the regular same ol same ol B2B stuff to pay the bills.
Kick ass project - has been helping my friend develop a new fanficition site. MyFandoms is in beta launch these days and we're very excited. We've just finalized the branding and it will hopefully be implemented on the site next week. Then the plans for the full marketing campaign will have to kick into gear. I'll set up an account over there in the next few days. My test accounts are now gone. We're ready for business. Come on over and say HI.
